Ruokailo’s mission is to increase the supply of plant-based meals in mass catering, cities, municipalities, businesses, and communities. We work with a broad array of stakeholders such as policymakers, NGOs, various food experts, and chefs. We offer training, expertise, strategies, menu design and practical tools to achieve food-related goals like carbon neutrality. We also provide presentations, talks, materials, and staff training.

Ruokalio’s founder Charlotta Hyttinen (MSc Human Nutrition) is a sought-after expert in the areas of plant-based nutrition and dietetics, mass catering, and plant-based cuisine. She has helped a variety of caterers and food experts to develop their knowledge, skills, roadmaps, and tools to increase the consumption of plant-based meals, simultaneously ensuring nutritional adequacy and deliciousness. Hyttinen also has ongoing long-term collaborations with the Plant Foods for Climate Campaign and the Finnish Vegan Association.
